yet he has no root in himself, but endures for a while, and when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately he falls away.

And everything on which any part of their carcass falls shall be unclean. Whether oven or stove, it shall be broken in pieces. They are unclean and shall remain unclean for you.

but if water is put on the seed and any part of their carcass falls on it, it is unclean to you.
“If a man’s hair falls out from his head, he is bald; he is clean.
And if a man’s hair falls out from his forehead, he has baldness of the forehead; he is clean.
You shall inherit the land by lot according to your clans. To a large tribe you shall give a large inheritance, and to a small tribe you shall give a small inheritance. Wherever the lot falls for anyone, that shall be his. According to the tribes of your fathers you shall inherit.
Only the trees that you know are not trees for food you may destroy and cut down, that you may build siegeworks against the city that makes war with you, until it falls.
May it fall upon the head of Joab and upon all his father’s house, and may the house of Joab never be without one who has a discharge or who is leprous or who holds a spindle or who falls by the sword or who lacks bread!”
